Josh! I want to once again thank you for your performance at the 2010 Eagle View Elementary Spring Carnival. You were certainly one of the big highlights of the evening. It was a crazy night with over three times the number of people we had planned for. In years past they had 300-400 people. We had well over 1,400 people at the event! Thank you for making our event extra special. I hope that we can schedule you in for next year’s carnival too.

ENE is about to become officially non-profit! Thanks to our lawyer we are in the process of finalizing the paperwork making ENE a registered non-profit organization, and all donations will be tax deductible.

KSTP news crews attended a show performed by the We Jugglers cast at Pequot Elementry school, the interview is scheduled to be aired within the next couple of weeks.

Several months ago in the Echo, there was an article about four friends who were pursuing their dream of making a feature length film. Recently, I had the pleasure of meeting Joshua Trujillo, one of the four and a longtime resident of Pequot Lakes.
Some of you may know Joshua from his days as youth director at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, others from The Warehouse in Pine River, or even back in the days when he was at Pequot Lakes High School starting the We Jugglers program that went out to teach drug-free messages.
As I mentioned, Joshua and his friends have the goal of producing a funny, family-friendly film called "We Jugglers" that will star and employ local actors and musicians, but also carpenters, electricians and more.
They plan to begin filming in the summer of 2010 in Pequot and the surrounding areas. They are in the process of raising their proposed budget of around $1 million and have a 20-page business plan to assist with this effort.
It is their belief that the success of this film - think "Napoleon Dynamite" meets "Dumb and Dumber" - will provide not only the foundation for future film business in our area, but also funds that will be used for local social issues. Joshua and his friends have truly thought out their plans; they dream, but their dreams have taken root and are ready to fly.
All they need is our support -and while they are looking for some donated office space, most other desires don't cost money, they just take a few moments of time.

Southwest Airlines is seriously considering investing in our project, also Ford motor company and Nike have both forwarded our proposal to their respective departments.
Josh Trujillo performed a night show at Nisswa's festival of lights for an audience of over 4,000 people, the 2 hour show featured Josh and one other juggler juggling flaming torches.

We are getting tons of positive feedback from beard fans everywhere! if you haven't heard beards are a big part of our film not only as the ultimate prop and commitment from our actors but we want to promote beard clubs in the film as well so if any of you facial hair fanatics are in a club already let them know we want to hear from them.
