Youth projects funded
Youth As Resources of Crow Wing County announced funding for three projects from area youths.
Recipients are Josh Trujillo with Remnant Ministries for The Upper Room Art Club, the "We, Jugglers" Anti-drug and Alcohol Use Project, and the Lighthouse Repair and Decorating Project brought to YAR by the high school youth group.
YAR is funded in Crow Wing County by the Otto Bremer Foundation, the Brainerd Lakes Area Community Foundation, and the Family Services Collaborative of Crow Wing County, with support from the Little Falls-based Initiative Foundation and the Brainerd Lions Club.

Grant proposal forms are available to print from YAR's community Web site at lakesarea.net. Click the "Community Web site" link and then the "Child and Youth" listing to find YAR.
Forms also may be obtained from the following youth board members: Maya Kuehn, president; Kyle Schilling, vice president; Jessica Dieter, secretary; Rachel Cross, treasurer; Amelia Cohoes, Jarid Johnson, Billie Jo Lewis, Damian Lewis, Xac Dinsmore or Mike Walters.
Proposals may be sent or hand-delivered to 510 S. 10th St., Brainerd, MN 56401, to be considered for funding. The next meeting date for grant presentation is April 8.
